I would like to communicate to you and those that would be interested to put in their business plans that the announced ENABLIS/Chase Bank Business Plan Competition deadline has been extended to 13th September to allow for more entries.
The other good news is that the entry fee that was initially being charged has also been waived.
Even better news is that for those Entrepreneurs who have Business ideas that have Green Themes or that are completely focusing on Green Entrepreneurship have a special interest for support from the Youth Entrepreneurship Facility of the ILO/YEN.
The bottom line is if you pitch for a business plan that has green(organic agriculture, renewable energy, agro-processing,environmental conservation, eco-tourism etcetra) or social enterprise based( community programes with a social angle but business like..eg a community water project, health, hygiene etc).
YEF will offer equipment, or Business Development Services to winning entries and eventual linkage to funding. This is a great opportunity that young people who want to excell in Busines should not let go.
